Framework & Forge ("we", "us", "our") is a software development studio based in the United States. This policy explains how we handle information on this website (frameworkandforge.com) and in the mobile and web apps we publish under the Framework & Forge name, including apps listed on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

If an app has its own privacy policy, that policy applies to the app and takes priority over this one. Apps we build for clients and publish under a client's name are covered by that client's privacy policy.

The short version

• We collect only what we need to run our website and apps and to support the people who use them.
• We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
• We do not show ads or use advertising trackers.
• You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing [email protected].

This website

You can browse this website without creating an account. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

• Contact form. Our contact form does not send anything to our servers. It opens your own email app with your message filled in. We receive only what you choose to email us, such as your name, email address, company, and project details, and we use it to reply to you.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. It may use strictly necessary security cookies for this purpose.

Our apps

What an app collects depends on what it does. Each app collects only the information it needs for its features, which may include:

• Account information, such as your name, email address, and sign-in details, if the app has accounts.
• Information you enter, such as schedules, team or roster details, messages, or other content you add to the app.
• Technical information, such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash or error reports, used to keep the app working.

The store listing for each app (the Google Play "Data safety" section and the App Store privacy label) describes what that specific app collects.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our website and apps.
• To create and manage accounts and to respond to support requests.
• To keep our services secure and to prevent fraud and abuse.
• To send messages you request or that relate to your use of an app, such as account or service notices.
• To comply with the law.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers that help us run our services, such as cloud hosting, database, and email providers. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
• Within your organization, when an app is used by a group such as a league, team, or business. Information you add may be visible to other members and administrators of that group, as the app's features require.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or us.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition. If that happens, this policy will continue to apply to information collected before the transfer.

Children and youth programs

This website and our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Some apps we build, such as tools for youth sports leagues, are used by parents, guardians, coaches, and organizers. Those adults may enter information about minors, such as a player's name, age group, or team. We use that information only to run the program's activities in the app. We never sell it or use it for advertising. A parent or guardian can ask us to review or delete a child's information at any time by contacting us at the address below.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous. We may keep some records longer when the law requires it, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Deleting your account and data

To delete your account and the personal information connected to it in any Framework & Forge app:

• Use the delete-account option in the app, if the app offers one, or
• Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account" and the name of the app.

We will confirm your request and delete your account and its personal information within 30 days, except for anything we are legally required to keep. You can also ask us to delete specific information without deleting your whole account.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will not treat you differently for exercising them. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where information is stored

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will provide additional notice, such as in the app or by email.
